ParkOne is a unique app allowing to share outdoor private parking places in Switzerland. We help parking owners to earn money by renting out their parking places on a short-term basis. We help regular commuters, working professionals, and tourists to save precious time and park cars in busy locations where municipal and underground parkings are rarely available. Together we build a sharing economy where everyone can benefit contributing to efforts of Swiss municipalities to reduce CO2 emission and make Swiss cities more comfortable and efficient.

Why I need to register car plate and car description in the profile?
Your registration plate and car description are needed to help the parking owner to identify your car when you park on the private parking place and avoid being charged for unauthorized parking.
How can I change my personal details in My Profile?
Changing your personal details is easy. Just log in to your profile and press on related yellow circle to modify any field.
I have the new mobile phone number. Can I log in to my existing ParkOne account with it?
This is possible only if you have entered and confirmed your email. In this case, you log in with your email account first and then modify your mobile phone number in the Profile.
Why do you need my email address?
We need your email address to ensure you can keep your existing profile if you change your mobile phone number and to receive payment confirmations.
Can I log in with my email address?
Yes, you can login with either your registered email address or registered mobile phone number.
Can I register several cars in My Profile?
Yes, you can register as many cars as you want including different cars with the same registration plate.

I parked for an hour, but my credit card has been charged for several hours. What happened?
You forgot to stop your parking session when leaving the parking place. For your convenience, your parking session remain valid and open until you stop it in the ParkOne app. Please make sure notification are enabled on your so that we can send you push-notification reminders about your active parking sessions.
I left the parking place but forgot to stop the parking session. Can I get a refund for an unused parking time?
No, unfortunately not. It is your responsibility to stop the active parking session when leaving. Please make sure notification are enabled on your mobile device so that we can send you push-notification reminders about your active parking sessions.
How can I find a parking place to park immediately?
Press the Park Me button in the bottom menu and the ParkOne app will find the nearest available parking place based on your geolocation. Make sure the geolocation function for the ParkOne app is enabled on your mobile device.
I parked on a ParkOne place for just 20 minutes but was charged for a full hour. Why?
This is correct. The minimum tariffication period on the app is 1 hour.
I have started the parking session earlier, arrived at the parking place but it is occupied. What should I do?
File a complaint using a yellow button on the screen of your active parking session or via the Feedback and complaints button in the Menu. You must make photo clearly identifying the registration plate of a vehicle violating the private parking and the parking place. This information will serve as an evidence and will allow us to issue a penalty to an owner of a violating vehicle, if this vehicle is registered with the ParkOne app. We will also pass this evidence to the private place owner for announcing the violation to authorities.
I cannot leave the parking place before the indicated closing. Can I extend my session?
Unfortunately, you cannot stay on the parking place longer than indicated closing time and must leave at the time of closing or earlier. In case you stay after indicated business hours you risk receiving a penalty from both the owner and the Authorities.

Can I reserve a parking place for a day?
Yes, you can reserve a parking place for one or several days. In case of bookings for one or several days, a daily tariff is applied.
What is the minimum reservation period for a ParkOne parking place?
A minimum reservation period in ParkOne is 1 hour.

Check on the App if the place is available for rent. If it is available, you may extend your session by using the Park Me function as long as it is open for rent. When do I need to cancel my parking reservation to avoid penalties?
In case of a booking for one or several hours, you must cancel your booking at least 1 hour before the start of your reservation. If you cancel your booking later than 1 hour before the start, you will be charged for 1 hour of parking.

I am a business owner. Can I rent out my parking places?
Yes, you can register as many parking places as you want. Please not that if you are subject to VAT, it is your responsibility to comply with VAT obligations.
Can I rent out several parking places?
Yes, you can register as many parking places as you want provided that you are legally authorized to rent them out.
I am renting a private parking place. Can I sub-rent it?
It depends on terms and conditions of your rental agreement. Please check with your real estate management company or your landlord if you are authorized to sub-rent your parking place.
There is a vehicle parked after the business hours of my parking place registered on ParkOne. What should I do?
First, make sure that this is a vehicle of a ParkOne user who rented your parking place via a ParkOne app. You can check this on the App in the parking history of your registered parking place. If this is the case, please report the violation via the Feedback and Complaints button in the Menu. We will take necessary measures to issue a penalty to this ParkOne user on your behalf. If this is not a ParkOne user, please follow a regular process of announcing a violation to the Authorities. You are, of course, free to announce a violation by a ParkOne user to the Authorities.

You can always rent your own parking place whenever you need it at no charge and without a credit card, as long as it is not already booked or rented by a ParkOne user. This function is designed for your convenience so that you do not need to modify business hours of your parking place every time you need to use it yourself.
Why ParkOne does not allow to set my own tariff for my parking place?
The tariffication settings in ParkOne are calculated based on an average public parking tariffs in your area. You can set up your tariff within a preset range.
How often will I receive money collected from drivers renting my parking place?
You bank account is credited automatically at the end of each calendar month.
Can I modify my tariff or the availability of my place?
Yes. You will need first to deactivate your parking to change its tariffs or business hours.
